1. Acceptance

By using the app you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. Version: 2026-09-26.

2. Your account

Your account is local to your device. Keep your private user key safe: anyone who has it can sign in as you, and it cannot be recovered by us.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the app to harass, threaten, stalk or harm others, to share illegal content, to impersonate others, or to interfere with the service or other users' devices. Do not use Nearby People to track a person without their consent.

4. Content

You are responsible for the messages and media you send. Because content is end-to-end encrypted and not stored on our servers, we cannot read, recover or remove it.

5. Availability and liability

The app and directory server are provided "as is", without warranties. We may change or discontinue the service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app.

2. حسابك

حسابك محلي على جهازك. احتفظ بمفتاح المستخدم الخاص بك في مكان آمن: فأي شخص يملكه يستطيع الدخول باسمك، ولا يمكننا استعادته لك.

3. الاستخدام المقبول

لا تستخدم التطبيق للتحرش بالآخرين أو تهديدهم أو ملاحقتهم أو إيذائهم، ولا لمشاركة محتوى غير قانوني، ولا لانتحال شخصية الآخرين، ولا للتدخل في الخدمة أو في أجهزة المستخدمين الآخرين. ولا تستخدم «الأشخاص القريبون» لتتبع أي شخص دون موافقته.

4. المحتوى

أنت مسؤول عن الرسائل والوسائط التي ترسلها. ولأن المحتوى مشفر من طرف إلى طرف وغير مخزن على خوادمنا، فلا يمكننا قراءته أو استعادته أو إزالته.

5. الإتاحة والمسؤولية

يُقدَّم التطبيق وخادم الدليل «كما هما» دون أي ضمانات. وقد نغيّر الخدمة أو نوقفها. وفي حدود ما يسمح به القانون، لا نتحمل المسؤولية عن الخسائر غير المباشرة أو التبعية الناتجة عن استخدام التطبيق.
